Wonderful advice as always. Thanks Lilian. Rated up and useful :) :)
Based on my research of 36 years, I found that long living people not only eat plant-based diets but are also relatively short and lean. Since the 1930's studies have also shown that caloric restriction is the most effective way to increase life span. However, a well-balanced and nutritious diet is also a must. While being shorter is an advantage, tall people can live to be 100 by following good dietary practices, keeping their weight down, exercising regularly and having a rich social life.

A fantastic hub! I loved the quote, "Eat breakfast like a Kinq/Queen, lunch like a prince/princess and dinner like a pauper." That's the way my great-grandmother from Coventry England always ate and her evening treat; a cup of coffee with a shot of whiskey b4 bed...She lived to be 110!!!
