Celebrating And Appreciating People Where Ever They Are In Life
One of my dearest passions besides putting pen to paper (or fingers to a key board) is painting and photography. I have several pieces of work which I hope to one day make available to the public. When I look out into this world I'm most attracted to nature and the beauty of what life has to offer. This includes the human form. So many wonderful shapes and sizes. What a wonder. I'm happiest amongst the raw and sensually true. That includes people from around the world. Looking at their lives, how they move, how they express themselves through their bodies. Faces so rich with experience or lack of. Much can be learned and valued through the human form- from head to toe. I look at our own society and wonder why only a select few 'types' of human forms are accepted? It's sad ridden with a paralyzing view of what is so miraculous!
As part of my creativity and for the love of escape, I do enjoy taking in a good movie once and a while. Allowing myself the pleasure of escape and of capturing moments of pleasure, of engagement or someone's vision. Escaping into the backdrops of films looking at the 'picture' from many different angles. I guess too, there is a director in me. It feels like I'm engaging with the actors, mind and spirit, while they are actively engaged in rich dialogue. It's the quality of what transpires that is captivating. Looking at color, sound, and living on that screen with the rest of the cast. Although rich in fantasy for the most part, I find something is missing.
Looking at the world through it's beauty which comes in different forms, smells, touch, sounds, and vision, the essence of what is natural in this world has been cheapened. From an artists point of view, I would like to have Hollywood continue widening the scope of what beauty is and should be. Including many different human forms, their voices, their essence, their vitality. That is the reason for my hub. To host a moderate concern and to speak up for what is worthy. There is more. And, I'm proud to have come up with amazing women in particular who have stepped up to show just how wonderful and vibrant life can be.
